DAY 1 : CASABLANCA – RABAT -  CHEFCHAOUEN

We at Morocco Salah Travels organise adventure tours departing from Casablanca towards Merzouga desert. This is just suggested itinearary which can be modified depends on your travel plans. Our Casablanca to desert and Marrakech trip starts from your local hotel. We will meet you at your Casablanca hotel and we visit best of Casablanca including Hassan II Mosque, and then we will drive to Rabat, where we visit Hassan II Tower,Oudayas Kasbah, and we continue driving towards Rif mountains and Chefchaouen, the white-blue city where we stay overnight in local riad.

DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN TO MEKNES AND FEZ

Today on 7 days Premium Merzouga Excursion we explore bets of Chefchaouen. The architecture today,for instance,is a heady mix of Moorish design flavored with the more ornate Spanish influence. Legend has is that Chefchaouen derived its name from the surrounding Rif range that resembles two chaouen or goat’s horns. Then we transfer from Chefchaouen to Ouazane and Fez, where we stay overnight in local riad.

DAY 3: FEZ MEDINA GUIDED EXCURSION

The whole day is devoted to gudied full-day tour of this UNESCO World Heritage City with our local guide. Sightseeing of Fez includes the medieval medina with its Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas, the Nejjarine fountain, the jewish area – El mellah, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum and the Karaouine mosque. Afternoon visit of Fez al Jdid – new Fez.  Overnight in local riad.

DAY 4: FEZ TO MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAINS AND MERZOUGA

In the morning our private 7 days family tour from Casablanca continues and we pick up at the hotel or riad. We will leave toward the desert along the way Merzouga. We will find a town called Ifrane, a charming and totally different from the rest of Morocco where is the Cedar Forest, here we can see a lot of monkeys where they we can feed and enjoy the many cedars that brings this forest.We will go through Midelt, located between the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas, we stop for lunch and continue the route. We will continue the road to Erfoud, crossing the Ziz Valley. Then we will drive to Merzouga, overnight in desert hotel with dinner.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA DESERT 4X4 EXCURSION

Today we will have circuit excursion around desert by 4×4. We will visit oases, nomad people and also Khamlia village (famous for its music). In the evening we take the camel trek across the dunes to desert camp where we stay overnight in comfortable tents. We will watch an amazing sunset in the desert.

DAY 6: MERZOUGA - TODRA VALLEY - DADES GORGES

The next morning we will wake up early to watch the sunrise. After camel trekking, we will drive to Rissani and we continue to Todra Gorges, through the vast palm grove of Tinerhir, where agriculture stand out, date palms, crafts … Later we arrive at the gorge. Here we can see the spectacular landscape for thousands of years has been forged thanks to the river that crosses. We will continue to the Dades Valley and we can admire the hundreds of kasbash dotted along the route. We continue on river road entering the narrow valley. Here we will have dinner and spend the night in local riad with dinner.

DAY 7: DADES GORGES - OUARZAZATE – AIT BNEHADDOU - MARRAKECH

Today after breakfast, we will pass the oasis of Skoura crossing the Valley of Roses is for medby hectares of roses, whose aroma can be seen throughout the month of May. Here you can see beautiful scenery. I continue to the fortified city called Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1987 and various famous movies have been made as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy …Later, we will travel through the Tizi N’Tichka, where we will stop to enjoy the scenery and take pictures.
