DAY 1: FEZ – MIDELT – RISSANI  - ERG CHEBBI  DESERT

We at Morocco Salah Travels organise adventure tours departing from Fes towards desert and Marrakech. This is just suggested itinearary which can be modified depends on your travel plans. Our Fes desert trip starts from your local hotel. Today after breakfast, departure to Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou, an important handicraft centre specializing in work using cedar wood. We will stop in Azrou and we explore also Midelt in lunch time. In the afternoon, our route descends to Erfoud through the gorges and the Ziz valley dotted with date palms. We continue to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and overnight at the kasbah.

DAY 2: MERZOUGA EXCURSION AND 4X4 TOUR

Today after breakfast, we explore Sahara desert of Merzouga. We will make a circuit of the desert dunes where you will have the opportunity to see the nomad’s way of life and the amazing changing contrasts of the desert. We will visit the “black village” of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the ancient capital of Rissani. In the afternoon, we will ride the camels to see the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in the desert camp. We will have a traditional tagine dinner, drink delicious mint tea, listen to traditional Berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert.

DAY 3: ERG CHEBBI – TINGHIR – TODRA - BOUMALNE DU DADÈS

Today in morning , you can watch the spectacle of the sunrise, when the colour of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. After breakfast depart towards bomalne dades passing via tinejdad and you have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra gorges via Tineghir. Stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. Arrival to Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous Canyons views. We explore Dades valley with dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 4: BOUMALNE DU DADÈS – SKOURA - OURAZAZATE :

Today we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna via the way of thousand kasbahs.We visit a nomad family in the mountain living in caves. We explore Skoura and you’ll visit the Kasbah Ameridil. We continue to Ouarzazate , “the Hollywood of Africa”, whose beautiful landscapes has attracted many world class movie producers. Here you visit the studios, containing props used in movies such as The Mummy, Gladiator… Overnight accommodation will be in a riad with dinner and breakfast.

DAY 5: OUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH:

Today we will drive towards Kasbah of Ait Ben-Haddou , we will visit the panoramic Kasbah which is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage. We leave for the impressive Kasbah of Telouet then we will cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi-N-Tichka pass to reach Marrakech in late afternoon.
